4 Levers of Success for Your Community Pharmacy

There are four essential measurements of success in a pharmacy business,

  • Financial Success,
  • Customer Success,
  • Productivity Success, and
  • Employee Success

The goal of running a great business is to be running on all four of these cylinders. When I teach my class, I often ask them “while all four levers are important, which is the most important?” The most common responses are financial or customer success. However, the correct answer is employee success.

We are a relationship business and it is impossible to deliver outstanding service and build valuable relationships without a great staff. Successful employees will lead to Customer and Financial success.
